November 4, 2024 – Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, Inc. (NHSNYC) is thrilled to officially welcome Tonya Ores as its Chief Executive Officer, beginning today, November 4, 2024. After a thorough executive search led by NHSNYC’s Board of Directors, Ms. Ores was tapped to take the helm of the organization. A formal announcement of her appointment was made on September 5, 2024.

Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City (NHSNYC) congratulates its incoming Chief Executive Officer, Tonya Ores, for being named a Top 100 Notable Black Leader for 2024 by Crain’s New York. Ms. Ores, who is being recognized for her work to create, protect, and promote affordable housing throughout her 27-year career, will join NHSNYC as its new CEO on November 4, 2024.
