Our partnership with the Transport Workers Union (TWU) continues to connect New Yorkers with valuable housing resources and homeownership opportunities. Earlier this year, NHSNYC hosted a dedicated Housing Resource Day for TWU Local 100 members, offering both in-person and livestream access to expert guidance on homeownership, down payment assistance, affordable mortgages, home repair programs, financial empowerment, and more.

The event provided TWU members with direct access to trusted housing professionals and practical tools to help them buy, maintain, and preserve their homes. By combining educational workshops, one-on-one resources, and virtual participation options, the program expanded access to critical housing information for members across the region.
