NHSNYC is delighted to welcome Debra Washington as our Director of Lending.

Ms. Washington brings over 20 years of financial services experience to her role.

Most recently, she served as Managing Director Outreach Lending Officer for Peapack Private Bank, New York Region, where her expertise included client consultation, loan application assistance, financial assessment, community outreach, relationship management, and adherence to compliance and ethics industry standards. 

Prior to that, she held the positions of Senior Community Outreach Relationship Manager and of Loan Officer, New York City and Connecticut Region, at First Republic Bank, and Vice President, Relationship Manager/Community Reinvestment Act Officer, at Sterling National Bank.

Debra Washington holds a Bachelor of Administration from Audrey Cohen College, New York, NY, and Master of Business Administration from the Metropolitan College of New York.

Her completed certification programs include Wharton Executive Education Leadership Development; Harvard Extension School Leadership and Communications Development; Community Reinvestment Act and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Data Analysis, Sheshunoff Regulation Compliance; and continuing education with New York University Underwriting Construction Loans.
