NHSNYC CEO Tonya Ores Recognized in City & State’s 2026 Who’s Who in Affordable Housing List

Tonya Ores, our Chief Executive Officer, was named to City & State New York’s 2026 Who’s Who in Affordable Housing list. In her public announcement, Ores shared that she was “deeply honored to be named in the 2026 Who’s Who in Affordable Housing edition of City & State New York”, celebrating the recognition alongside other leaders shaping equitable and affordable housing policy and development across New York.

Creating and preserving affordable housing is Tonya’s life’s work. Every family assisted and every community strengthened affirms the importance of these efforts.

This recognition reflects her decades‑long leadership in affordable housing—from expanding housing programs in Brooklyn to steering NHSNYC’s citywide mission to stabilize homeowners, advance housing justice, and strengthen neighborhoods.
