Bank of India Presents $25,000 Check to NHSNYC at Bridging the Gap Gala
[NEW YORK, NY] – At NHSNYC’s annual Bridging the Gap Gala, held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Tribeca Rooftop, Bank of India generously presented a check for $25,000 in support of NHSNYC’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable housing and financial stability services to low-to-moderate-income families across New York City. The bank served as one of the event’s Diamond Level Sponsors, a recognition of their continued partnership and commitment to uplifting underserved communities.
The check was presented to Tonya Ores, NHSNYC’s incoming Chief Executive Officer, and David Bagatelle, NHSNYC’s Board President, by Shireesha Nethi, Compliance Officer at Bank of India, alongside her colleagues who also attended the gala. The contribution will support NHSNYC’s impactful programs, including their first-time homebuyer initiatives, financial literacy workshops, and foreclosure prevention efforts.
NHSNYC is proud to partner with financial institutions like Bank of India, whose support helps bridge the gap to economic security and homeownership for the families who need it most.
