NHSNYC’s work is two-fold: we strive to promote and preserve sustainable homeownership for New York City families and residents, particularly our low-to moderate-income neighbors. Your gift will enable us to help more New Yorkers become first-time homeowners through our financial education, homeownership counseling, first-mortgage financing, and downpayment and closing cost assistance programs. What’s more, your gift will help keep people in their homes by supporting our foreclosure prevention counseling and increasing access to affordable loans for rehab, renovation, and debt consolidation to keep homes inhabitable.
