NHSNYC Awarded $100,000 Grant from New York Community Trust to boost Community Development and Civic Engagement

New York, NY — Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City (NHSNYC) is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a $100,000 grant from the New York Community Trust for the second year in a row. The Trust’s $100,000 grant to NHSNYC will ensure new affordable loan options are available to homeowners and homebuyers across the five boroughs of New York City who continue to struggle with the lingering economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, compounded by the current economic environment.

“We are deeply honored to receive this generous grant from the New York Community Trust, which will enable us to further our mission of fostering vibrant communities and supporting individuals on their journey towards lasting, sustainable, and affordable homeownership here in New York City,” said Derrick Griggs, Chief Executive Officer at NHSNYC.
